We are a little crazy aren’t we, especially artists? Artists are usually considered eccentric, unorthodox, a-little-out-there, but where do these misconceptions stem from. That is something we never really talk about because it’s much easier to write creative individuals off as such. This contest is to determine who’s writing will be a part of our very first issue of MOST iNFLUENTIAL ART Magazine.

The article is your explanation of how mental health directly affects what and how an artist creates their work. This topic is incredibly important to us, being artists ourselves, we relate directly to this concept.

Many individuals who love art today experience much of their favorite creations via a screen. In a world where more artists are gaining in popularity with the aid of websites, social media, and other media outlets, the ways of the traditional gallery aren't the main way we view art anymore. With that comes an overall ignorance of what a gallery actually does for an artist.

Contemporary Art is a term thrown around a lot lately. But, what does is it mean exactly? That is where you come in. Just like with traditional galleries, how most people don't know what they do, the same can be said for Contemporary Art. Many of today's art enthusiasts do not know what it actually is and its effects on the art world in general. Your job in this contest is to define it and its characteristics and its role/purpose in society.
